Reconditioned Products - (R) 

What are "Factory-Reconditioned" products?  
Customers return products for many reasons: a customer may change his or her mind, not like the product, or have difficulty operating it. Whether it is returned a month later or only the very next day, such an item must be identified as reconditioned or refurbished to be resold.

Open Box                                                                                                                                                             As the name implies, this refers to a product that someone bought but merely "opened the box".

Customer Returns                                                                                                                                           This refers to products that the customer opened and may have briefly used, and as a result, the product may show a small amount of wear and tear.

How are products reconditioned?                                                                                                                     Every product targeted for reconditioning must pass a thorough examination. After repairing any defect and sanitizing when necessary, the product is repackaged either by the original manufacturer or a reputable professional outside firm may perform the reconditioning, returning the products to like-new or almost new condition.

How do I identify Factory-Reconditioned products?                                                                                              We note these products on our site with (R) next to the model number.

Will "Factory-Reconditioned" products come in different packaging?

  • By law, product packaging must state if an item is factory-reconditioned.
  • Packaging and terminology differs slightly with each retailer.
  • Some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that it's reconditioned, refurbished, or factory serviced. Some items come repackaged in a plain brown or white box.
  • Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (camera cases, straps, for example.) that are not included with the reconditioned product.
  • Be sure read over the product information page for a list of included accessories.

What makes a "Factory-Reconditioned" item such an excellent purchase?

  • Factory-reconditioned products maintain high quality standards.
  • Each item is checked at least twice for proper working condition and quality.
  • The price you pay for a reconditioned item is much lower than at retail.
  • Carry manufacture warranty and support.
Tax

Corona Custom Shop does not charge sales tax except for California shipping addresses. The current tax rate for CA residents is 8.25%.


Payment


We accept the following forms of payment for your online purchases:

  • Secure check out by Paypal
  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express Through Paypal
  • Money order, cashier check, or personal check. All payment must clear before we can ship out your items


Term


For shipping damage, customers should claim to their carrier immediately. Any missing or wrong item should be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. Because of the nature on the Internet online ordering, your purchase form Corona Custom Shop acknowledges that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Corona Custom Shop is not responsible for typographical errors or the displayed item's images.


Warranty
All items come with a warranty against manufacturer defect or failure for a period of three months to one year from the date of your purchase, depending on the manufacturers. This warranty covers replacement or repair of the product with the same product.  Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned are not granted warranty coverage. There is no charge for repairing products covered by warranty apart from shipping costs. We recommend that the products should be returned by post be sent by FedEx/USPS with insurance or other insured postal services. Corona Custom Shop accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit.


RETURN POLICY


Customer must notify Corona Custom Shop within 5 days of the products delivery to get an RMA number and must return products to Corona Custom Shop within Fourteen (14) days of delivery of the order. After 14 days, products may be returned directly to the manufacturer according to their instructions. Customer may request a replacement product otherwise company credit will be issued. A 25% restocking fee applied to your return. Shipping cost is non refundable.

Items with manufacturer's defects:

  • Please return the defective product within 14 days and we will promptly ship you a replacement.
  • Items returned as defective that are found to not be defective will incur a 25% restocking fee for the returned unit, therefore we suggest contacting the manufacturer as listed in your owners manual for support prior to requesting a return authorization.
  • Refunds will not be issued if a return is made without an RMA number.

How to return an item:

  • Please notify immediately to report a defective item and request for an #RMA number. Please, allow 48 hours to respond to your email.
  • Please have your order number available.
  • When you return the item please include a copy of your invoice or order confirmation email, write your RMA number on it and provide a return reason.
  • Returns must be in like new condition.
  • Returns will not be accepted without all of the original packaging, manuals and accessories.
  • All returns must be received by us within 7 days from the RMA number issuing date.
  • Refunds will not be issued if a return is made without an RMA number or we received the returned merchandise after 14 days of delivery of the order.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable. Please note that all returns that will be shipped without a valid RMA number will be refused and package will go back to the sender.
  • We recommend returns be made via FedEx insured freight only.
  • Corona Custom Shop accepts no responsibility for loss or damage items in return transit. Please, allow up to 5 business days to process your returns.
  • You are responsible for all freight charges.
